The University of Wisconsin-Platteville, a pioneer in distance education for the past 35 years, is proud to announce the institution’s recent inclusion on U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Online Graduate Programs in Criminal Justice” list.
UW-Platteville’s online criminal justice programs, which include the Master of Science in Criminal Justice (MSCJ) and the Certificate in Child Advocacy Studies (CAST), were ranked within the top 15 in the nation. Additionally, the ranking establishes UW-Platteville as one of the best online graduate criminal justice programs in the Midwest and the best in the state of Wisconsin. The institution also grabbed top rankings for its online bachelor’s programs, and graduate programs in business and education.
“This recognition is an incredible endorsement of the quality of our programs, faculty, and student services staff,” said Dawn Drake, executive director of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville’s Alternative Delivery Systems.
U.S. News analyzed 1,200 online degree programs to develop this year’s rankings, an increase of more than 20 percent from the 2014 list. Several factors are evaluated, including graduation rates, faculty credentials, and the quality of support services offered online.
“As student demand for quality online education continues to grow, our staff’s dedication to excellence ensures we are among those universities leading the way,” said Drake.
